A New Week...A New Giveaway

Camille has created something very special using the"Welcome Home" collection and we wanted to share and inspire you to do something similar... 

 "For this weeks project I redesigned a treasure book for my daughter.The original treasure book was made for my sister and I when we were children.  I still remember opening it at Christmas and my grandmother saying, "Oh The Secret Women, what a great book!" and then we opened it, and while we were elated at the secret compartment, my grandmother exclaimed, "Oh no!  What a waste!"  I guess my grandmother just didn't have many secrets.  

I redesigned the book using mostly Welcome Home papers and added a second shallow compartment at the back of the book. My daughter didn't see the book until this morning and she was elated.  I hope someday she will pass it on to her daughter.

Now, it has been a few weeks since we have given away anything, so how about a set of "Welcome Home" papers so that you could recreate this special book???

I love them all and it's so hard to pick, but if I had to choose just one, I would choose Travel Ledger; this is one line that I am really excited about. I can't wait to start scrapping my pictures from my Central America trip, it was the best trip I took with my mother. We really bonded on this trip and made so many wonderful memories.

Welcome Home would probably be my favorite line right now *it changes depending on where I'm at in life* We just moved twice in a year and a half, after having lived in the same home for 22 years. I am a new mommy and never imagined moving. I love the "Home is where you are" quote. My husband moved around alot as a kid as used to say that to me alot when we were first married ... I get it now. As long as I have him and our baby, it doesn't matter where we lay our heads ... but yes, decorating helps too! ;-)

So far I am totally in love with the CHIC BEBE BOY line. Not because of the baby boy theme but the fact that I can use the other side of the paper for my many other projects. It is so versatile and looks so freaking adorable with my special memories/moments. Thanks Teresa for creating a line that is completely and utterly usable for the non-mama. I love CHIC BEBE BOY!!!

I fell in love with the Travel Ledger Collection the first time I saw it. I did a lot of detective work and finally found a source for pre-ordering it. I then ordered multiples, as I know I will be able to use it in a million ways. Awesome!

Well if I have to choose one it will be from a few seasons back. I fell hard for TC's valentine's line. I can not tell you how many layouts I have created using these gorgeous papers. I am so glad that I bought a ton of them and have been able to create many mini albums.

My favorite TC line just happens to be Welcome Home. I recently lost my grandmother and before she passed I went and took pictures of everything in her home. I am making the Welcome Home album as a keepsake for my children to remember their great-grandmother's home - documenting the little things from her favorite coffee to the aqua floral sette (that she had for 50 years).
