Lori incorporated Chic Bebe Boy with Chic Bebe Girl papers with chipboard & ribbon and then created her own embellishments to coordinate by adding Shimmerz and lots of stitching to create a beautiful layout.

We sent out a challenge out to YOU & to the team on Monday based on Jamie Harder's Layout and here is just a peek at what we have seen...
Team Member Cheri
Cheri incorporated and layered Travel Ledger, Welcome Home, Chic Bebe Boy and Mr. & Mrs to create an amazing layout..and did you notice that she added the color red to the black & white "I Love You" paper from the Mr. & Mrs. line?
Simply spray or blot your favorite color ink right onto the paper to create an entire different look!
Team Member Camille
Camille created her layout by using the Travel Ledger paper. She incorporated the "ledger" side of the Chandelier paper from Welcome Home paper for her journaling and added a great splash of color by mixing in the clock transparencies...
but would you take a look at the flower she created from bits and pieces of the Travel Ledger and the actual clock "hands" trimmed out from the transparencies...WOW!!!!

If you notice, Jamie used the Travel Ledger line, Welcome Home & Chic Baby Girl to create a layout about her daughter and a "journey"...not specifically about a "trip"
This is exactly what Travel Ledger was created around..."A Journey..." not necessarily about a tropical destination, a trip around the world, or even a trip to the local campground, but more about the "journey's" in our lives..

Teresa will teach one class at the Springfield Scrap Nook on Friday, November 5.
Teresa will teach TWO classes on-site at the O' Scrap event November 6. All classes are $50.00 and include a GREAT project(available for viewing SOON at both stores).
Teresa will be available for autographs, and we will take your picture with her as well on both Friday and Saturday!
If you cannot attend O' Scrap, you CAN come by to shop and/or take a class with Teresa! Simply CALL 417-833-3500 to register or come by in person!

Today's project comes from Stephanie and she has designed a simple and quick mini book using chipboard and the Travel Ledger collection to hold travel memories, photos and journaling.
Cut 6-8 chipboard shapes and patterned paper for each side using a die cut system. Adhere the papers onto the chipboard and ink edges.
Use the pre-cutTravel Ledger Tags and Quotes in your book as well. Adhere them to chipboard, trim, ink & punch a hole.
Cut additional coordinating sized papers and transparencies to add to your book and use a book ring to connect them all together..
To give the book a little extra touch, add an airplane charm to the front of the book...perfect!
The book is finished in a flash and ready to be filled with memories!
We love the endless possibilities of file folders. They are the perfect addition to mini books, a layout or creating a little project like this:

The inside of the file folder is what we found so clever. Lara cut up several sheets of lined paper, and then used the silver metal fasteners along the top.
This could be a great little journaling book to take on your next trip!!!! You can keep notes and thoughts of your trip on the lined paper. CLEVER-
