Today's inspiration is about THREE THINGS...
1. Mixing past collections with current lines
2. Using Teresa Collins products outside the specific "theme" of the collection
3. Creating a non-traditional layout size (try it..you might like it ALOT!)
Start with the 12 x 12 Bebe Boy Ledger paper (BB1007) and fold right edge over towards the left side approx. 5 1/2" to create a flap.
This layout is going to be created in layers...
Create a journal spot by trimming a 3" x 6" strip of white ledger (I used a scrap from the "Family Matters" line) and "tear" the bottom edge..Adhere it to the right side of the front flap.
Adhere a 4" x 6" photo to a 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" piece of black & white polka dot from the Mr. & Mrs. line (MM1203) and adhere that to the upped center of the the front flap, covering approx. 1 1/2" of the journal strip.
Trim a decorative frame from the Welcome Home "Home" paper (WH1309) and adhere it to the lower left of the 4" x 6" photo.
TIP - instead of trimming the inside of the frame out, simply trim a photo to the size and adhere to the top of the frame. Photo used measures 2" x 2 1/4".
Embellish your journaling with a handmade chipboard embellishment by adhering a favorite phrase from one of many Teresa Collins word papers (phrase used found on a past line, the Family Matters "Family Life" paper) to a scrap of chipboard and attach it to the layout with pop dots!
For the inside of this layout, I covered the "crowns" (the reverse side of the ledger paper) with a 6 1/2" x 12" piece of ledge paper from the Mr. & Mrs. Ledger paper (MM1202).
Trim 1 large frame from the Welcome Home Transparency sheet (WH1312). Add adhesive to the wrong side of the upper edge of the frame and adhere to the ledger paper.
Add a photo measuring approx. 3" x 4" underneath the frame.
Cut 3-4 smaller frames from Welcome Home "Home Sweet Home" paper (WH1308) and adhere to the lower portion if your page. Measure the "insides" of the frames and trim photos to fit!
Use more "words" to capture the feelings of your photos...
You can add these pages into your albums by either using a binding system and punch out the left edge, adhere this entire page to a larger piece of cardstock or..when you fold your initial "flap" fold the paper in 1/2 and create it the same exact way and then slide it into one of Teresa's 6" x 12" clear page protectors!
Remember, whatever you create, we would LOVE to see it, so please remember to send us your work...
