Today we are switching gears from our past "Retailer Spotlight" and have moved our spotlight over to a reader and the absoultly INCREDIBLE gift she made for a friend...
Met Cheri
I'm a lovely bride of 18 years to Danny. I am a city girl who married a country boy and we created a beautiful girl who is 15.75yrs old...That part is so important, you know...freedom, our lives are about to change in a great big way. We live in the country on a creek that brings us wonderful animals and birds of all sorts, also important. I live with a family of HUNTERS, right down to the dog!
I long ago gave up big dreams of pretty pastels and pink and have adapted & learned to love the earthy colors of mossy green, denim blue, barn red. We live in the Pacific Northwest, all of us born and raised right here. Right now my favorite shoes are black with brightly colored polka-dots, they are my rubber boots which I'd happily LIVE in them if I could!
I'm also a Real Estate Agent, I sell huge dreams and homes to fill with many memories. I started scrapbooking when my daughter was born...way back when the only adhesive resembled & smelled a little like "rubber cement". I have a little addiction to photo corners, they are to me like lip liner is to lipstick or icing on the cake! Speaking of cake, when I scrapbook I have to have a bit of chocolate, right now I'm thoroughly enjoying Hershey's candy coated milk choc. eggs - I have found that the distressing ink doesn't stick to them when you pop them in your mouth!!! Distressing ink, another item I can not be with out and it comes in so many beautiful deep earthy colors! I began making mini albums because of the instant gratification of preserving a whole event in one little art book... to the point our "chronological" albums aren't set out as they once had been. The little displays of moments can be interchanged in our home by season or holiday and we enjoy them so much more. Thank goodness for my zutter which I'm hoping will be worn out soon..You know...so I can get that pretty Pink one!!! HA!!! Right now, in my purse, if you were to look you would find a photo corner punch for those occasions when your in a Starbucks line and someone has kindly left their newspaper behind, A Hockey Puck, and a wooden coin to the county fair...a few counties away! I surf the net looking at online junk stores before I head up to my scrap studio, for whatever reason it makes my mind spin and get's the juices flowing. I will admit though, my really really good ideas come to me in my dreams..
now LOOK at what Cheri has created using the Welcome Home Line...(prepare to look at it over and over and over....)
ah-ma-zing....makes me want to create!!!! HOw about you???
Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talents Cheri..we can not wait to see what is next from you!
Happy Friday!
